Program Crashed and Project Disappeared

I am using version 0.10.4.1 and recently maybe due to large .ogg files the program has been crashing. I was using it today and it deleted my whole project and all the files that represented the project. I had only this copy of the directory and will take this as a lesson but How do I report this as I am still learning before considering going pro. This is a concern and deciding factor in considering Pro. Please help.
