Uses of Tables in Gamesalad ?

I made three simple games in gamesalad till now,,, i never used tables in my games. i want to know how tables are useful in making games.

In the free template below we use tables to build the level and to check to see if theres a wall prior to moving.

In Ghost Ship i used tables to plot how many enemies and what kind of enemies appear in certain levels…meaning i could make a whole game using 1 table in less than 10 minutes.

Tables are cool, well worth learning properly... I still need to learn the new table functions (loops etc). Can cut the number of attributes your game needs significantly.
