Application Loader Error: Requires Payload?

Hi.
I am trying to submit my GameSalad game to the App Store (iOS). After a while in the upload I get this error:
ERROR-ITMS-9000 "This bundle is invalid. The IPA format requires a top-level directory named Payload, containing only a .app bundle and option plugins in a Plugins directory."
Any help would mean a lot.
Thanks,
Maxx.

You should be able to just submit the gamesalad .app by compressing it to .zip format and submit that.
But if its test flight your trying to do then create a folder call it Payload put your app in there, zip the whole folder and submit it.

Thanks.
I think I may be uploading the wrong file. What file should I be uploading, and how do I get it?
When you publish through gamesalad after you sign the project you will get a .app , just compress it and it will make a .zip , submit that one.

I try to sign it, but it says I don't have a matching provisioning profile.
Do you have your iTunes connect provisioning profiles and all that set up? If not then you won't be able to do it.
You require a apple developer account which cost $99 a year.

I have an Apple Developer Account. I also have a Distribution Provisioning Profile. Do I have to install it some how?
Here are some videos tutorials you can follow, they are before iOS8 but still follow the same principals
setting up app id:
provisioning profiles
app signing

Thanks, but that didn't really help. All I need to know how to do now is install my Provisioning Profile on my Mac and make it show in Keychain. I'll try to find some tutorials myself.
If you look through what i posted it shows you exactly what to do.

Open Xcode go to preferences. Go to accounts put in your account info for Apple developer. At the bottom hit details then once that window opens hit the refresh button at the bottom.
