Max actors before lag?

Just wondering how many actors I can spawn into my game before an iphone/ipad would start lagging? On the preview (iphone 5) within Gamesalad, I spawned around 180 actors with no logic inside them and the previewer started to lag. Wondering what an iphone is capable of?

    You're right. I tried to spawn 2 and my phone literally caught fire in my hand. Am typing this from the hospital.

    A little bit off topic, but would you know an easy way to save actors positions on the map if they are spawned in? Like if player tapped screen 3 times and 3 actors appeared, and they reset their phone, how could I save the location of all 3 actors uniquely using a single prototype actor?

    I think the best idea would be to write the data to a table and save that table.
