Actor Attributes Locked

I'm trying to edit some Instance Actors Attributes, more specifically the alpha. I'm trying to put these actor's alpha to 0. But when I click on the color drop down menu, it's grey and it's locked. please help

    Are you using GameSalad Creator on a PC or Mac? Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? You might have to upload it to a file-sharing site and then post the URL here.

    I am using the PC version. I ended up clicking randomly and it unlocked. That seems to work, but it's really annoying. http://gyazo.com/2e2bf625a6570a24de0d6005d6d96413

    It's normal for those attributes to be grayed out in an instance (an actor placed on the scene). The reason for that is that those attributes by default get their values from the prototype actor (the actor in the Inspector area). If you choose to "unlock" them by double-clicking on an attribute value, you can change them but then that actor is different from the prototype.
