Play music continous between scene

I am not sure what the issue but I was given the impression that when you add the play music attribute on first scene attached to an actor and when you switch scene, the music will still continue. But this is not the case as each time I click on a button, the scene switches but the music restarts.

Is they a way to avoid this and ensure music continues to play
