Stick Hero (How does it work)

I really don't feel like paying $35 to view the way the stick gets longer when somebody keeps holding the screen since that's all I want to know.
Does anybody know how to do this?
Thanks

You can interpolate the length of the stick, or constrain the length to an attribute.
I have a Stick Hero demo I hope to find the time to finish and release free at some point over the next few days. PM me tomorrow and I'll send you an early version.

I'm hesitant to give away information that exists in a for-sale template because if it were my template I'd be upset if someone else did the same. But since you're asking for a single mechanic and not "please make me the Stick Hero game for free" I'll offer you this: you'll need to constrain the endpoints of the stick actor similar to the way it's done with health bars:
And then you'll need to use VectorToAngle() to determine the rotation of the stick.

Give it time. Lol.
Personally, I can't really feel much in the way of sympathy for the template makers selling copies of other people's work.
It's $30 down here in Texas. $25 if there's a convention in town.
@SlickZero, LOL!

Not sure where it's $35, $14 is the price we sell for on DBA.
There's a bit more to it than simply making the stick grow, you have to rotate it nice and smooth which after looking at another version they failed to do because the stick goes through the ground making it look off.
Then there's the physics where the hero makes the stick topple if it's not long enough which is also lacking in the other one I saw.
I'm sure someone will make a half decent free one if your prepared to wait long enough though.
Darren.
