What do you think of these names?

So my friend and I are rubbish at this and need some help for a name our apps to submit under.

It's nothing formal, not a registered company name, here are some that we have thought of but we really aren't sure?

It's purely for submitting our apps that will most likely be only games.

Ones that we have thought of are in the poll but we need some help!

I know this sort of post has been done before and they got some good suggestions so we thought we might try it. Thanks!

Hi RH, I'll interrupt this teasing with an advert; I mean, sensible comment!! I voted for Gargoyle Games, though I haven't checked out the sort of games you make, I just like it. It'd be perfect, I reckon, if you made adventure-type games. Galaxy Games sounds just right for outer space stuff. Obvious I know, but that's how people think, er, I think. To me, Voodoo Games sounds like your apps would be spooky.

You're gonna have to pick a name that suits the theme of your games. For example, say you choose Gargoyle Games, and your logo is a big stone giant a la Goliath (someone better get this reference). You publish your first game, called "Cootsie-Wootsie Susie and the Play Date with the Talking Daisies and the Adorable Puppies". Something doesn't add up.

Gargoyle Games has been done before - not sure if the name is protected in any way as this was back in the 80s.

Wahoo, thanks for the suggestions, I'm not sure if I will use a 'name' though as I'm not sure to the legal side of it. If i submit to the app store under my name but submit a game with a slash screen at the beginning saying 'Voodoo Apps' is there any harm in that? Do i need copyright/ register it as a company name?

Yeah, you do need to register it one way or another. Usually, you'd sign-up as a business and use a name like that, but I'm not sure what to do under this situation. All I know is that you can't just put that as a flash screen.
