Using GS with Kinect? - (I'm a beginner to kinect)
Hi all,
Just wondering how many of you have made your games gesture based for kinect? Have you had any issues with it?? This is what I'm hoping to achieve and I'm hoping to use GS for the animating:
This is a site-specific artwork projected onto the floor from above. Little creatures are running around the screen. When they sense someone walking into the vision of the kinect and projector, they gravitate towards the feet of the person and follow them around. So, almost like a mouse follower, but with people in the space being the mouse. I'd also like the creatures to form a circle around the people's feet if that makes sense, rather than clumping together in one spot like mouse followers usually do.
How would I make this work in GS? Is it possible? Does kinect play up often with GS? (I've not played around with the kinect much as I don't own my own and would be borrowing this one for the event).

A beginner to Kinect in what way? Playing it? ;P.
I'd say you might want to start with Unity and then go here (not plugging a third party GDK, just the resources if anyone may want to check out/learn about etc.) :
