Need ideas for gameplay features
SPIKES is currently a pretty basic platformer I'm working on that's similar to Spikes Tend to Kill You (google it!).
After setting down the general art style and gameplay elements (double jumping etc.) I'm looking to implement some extra gameplay features in the forms of cannons etc. to make the game more varied. Any ideas would be appreciated. Bare in mind that the size of the player is 8x8 and the block size is 20x20.
