Zoom In Game
Hello again! I have another question. I wanted to keep the file size and memory usage of my game low, but it seems pretty difficult at the moment. I'm currently making it for the Macbook, which has a resolution of 2560 by 1600. So, my scrolling backgrounds and foregrounds are HUGE. I made the background 4096 by 3584 and it was resized by GS. Here's my questions, is there a way to zoom into the game so that I can make the levels only the screen size? Because the game is essentially zoomed in and the visualized area is far smaller, the backgrounds and foregrounds can be far smaller. Also, is there a way I can zoom in and out of the game salad editor? I'd like to see the entire screen I am working with. As it is right now, I have to scroll left and right to visual the entire workable field.

There is a guy called tshirtbooth on youtube.com with a full zoom tutorial.
also if ur game is for mac, the file size can be relatively large cant it?
Y can detatch the bottom panel of gamesalad , maybe all of the panels
You cannot zoom into the editor but you can use the camera to zoom in or out during gameplay. Just Google gamesalad camera for tutorials.
