Don't talk on your cell phone, no road rage and definitely don't cause or have an accident :).

Drive a car you're familiar with. When I took mine, I swapped out cars at the last minute, ignorantly thinking all cars were the same. I was a very good driver with tons of practice but I barely passed the test. Actually, I didn't. I scored 69 out of 100 and passing was 70. The staff person looked at her clipboard and said, "good enough" and passed me. The car I practiced with had power steering and power brakes. The car I brought to the test didn't. One had five gears and one had four. I was a mess trying to drive a different car. I'm sure you won't make the same mistake. Lol. For the record, I've been driving for 20+ years without a single ticket and only one tiny fender bender (no, auto-correct, not 'gender bender') that I wasn't at fault for.

Anyway, that's my story... good luck with yours!

I actually swapped cars as well, but got the best score of the week, according to the person scoring me. I wouldn't recommend swapping out cars last minute. Parallel parking is a little tough, just make sure that you back up and park in the middle of the designated area, not just anywhere once you've cleared the line.

I know they're always looking to make sure you check and clear (look both ways) each intersection before entering, so keep that in mind.

You'll do great - best of luck!

Don't drive with one hand while trying to impress someone. On a serious note, remember that driving is not about moving the car from one spot to another spot but its all about how you avoid drunken drivers or speeding drivers from causing you any accident. That's what makes you a good driver :)

So many people have lost their life's because of some else careless driving. Stay safe

And you've just revealed yours too! >:) I'd like to say I enjoyed a transition to power steering and brakes. :D My brother had a 1981 Mazda RX-7, light and fast, but no power steering. A chore from a standstill, but good after acceleration.

Just go with the flow. Easy as pie. Good luck, and come back with a driver's license!

Passed my first try, surprised me after the guy he told me to back up in the car and I acdently put in park and steped on the gas for 30 seconds, then finally noticed and put it in reverse. I also winged the parallel parking. But made it.
