Getting JSON info from an HTML page and putting it on the screen.

Hey guys I'm thinking about upgrading to pro just for this simple fact. But want to totally make sure its possible before I do it.

I want to make a simple Bitcoin price ticker that takes some price info off of an exchange and puts it on the screen.

Here is the ticker info.

https://www.bitstamp.net/api/ticker/

I just want to take the "last" portion of that text and print it out.

Hopefully I can do this.

yes, but you'll need an intermediate server that constantly pulls that data and formats it for gamesalad.

check out the thread in my signature and you'll see an example of what type of JSON gamesalad expects. I'd setup a custom server that just downloads that ticker every 5 minutes or so. then you can massage the format for gamesalad.
