in iPhone and Android Publishing

Hi, I want to publish to android, but I have a question. When publishing their is the android option. When I click on this and publish it. Is it just creating an android apk that I can upload to different app stores, or does it automatically upload it to the google play store?

    When generating and signing your app in the gamesalad publishing portal, it only creates a unsigned and signed .apk , you can then submit that to whatever store you want, google play, amazon etc

    ok. Thanks, so it is simply just creating an apk file that is compatibe with each system correct?

    I guess you could say that, yes. Amazon uses the unsigned .apk and google play the signed .apk i believe.
