Having many questions isn't a reason to upgrade to Pro. http://gamesalad.com/pricing shows a comparison between licenses (free or Pro).
The only difference in forum participation is access to the Pro subforums here. I wouldn't say the information within those is necessarily more advanced; having fewer "how do I make an actor move?" questions allows more sophisticated questions to have a bit more air time.
But feel free to ask any questions you have here... I'm sure you'll get answers for all of the things you mentioned.

A bit OT but I'll drop it here anyway:
Presently (Christmas 2014) GS is offering a $25 discount if you upgrade to pro now, that means it's like 30 extra days for the same price.
If you are sure you are going to upgrade in around a month it would be good to upgrade now and get all the extra goodies. That's what I am going to do on the 31st
That being said, as a noobie myself, I have asked plenty of questions here and Tatiang (above) as well as others have been kind enough to answer all questions without a "upgrade to pro to know the answer". One of the reasons I chose to go with GS is because the community seems very friendly and do help each other out without pressuring you to do anything (eg: upgrade).
Just my 2 cents, hope it helped.
thanks for the reply's. but really though, how do i make an actor move?? lol
i have a time restraint on my game, and honestly i feel like im bothering people with posts on questions that i should be able to read about/answer myself :?
i know how to make my game in my head, i just cant translate it through the program cuz i lack in the program knowledge. so if upgrading to pro wont do the trick, what will?
i have until march to complete/ test / publish my game. its very simple, a timer based game. timer runs 60 seconds, character collects points by touching objects, with a possible time increase.
i have the entire game in my head finished. i just learned photoshop to do the art my self and will be learning a music making program within the coming weeks.
i find it really frustrating that gamesalad is based off asking other people for help, ive run into quite a few speed bumps and when your in the zone creating/working on and you have to stop and wait for a reply, it takes from the fun of it.
just thought id share a bit more experiences
Rather than asking , feel free if you want to ! ,:D check out some youtube videos. Try These :

and jamie_c channel think has some idk
AND MERRRY CHRISTMASSSSSS HOHOHO
I programmed in Java a while back, and before that C, C++... and after Java - Python, PHP, MySql etc: learning each each bit of those languages gave me the same headaches you described.
Learning GS is no different especially since most of the functionality is broken down visually for non programmers and thus I find myself asking silly noobie questions on the forums (thankfully people are nice to noobs like me here )
Check out the links others give you, then also do a search for video tutorials or tutorials in general for GS (some cost a member fee), unfortunately Lynda has not done a GS course as yet (no idea why) and finally keep this in mind, it's what I always come back to when the going gets tough:
"Very few things really worthwhile come easy"
Good luck!
EDIT: What's also helped me quite a bit is to check out the example games that came with GS. Those are some real "pro games", go through them, see the logic their creators used, try to mimic that
My suggestion will be first focus on your game using free version, once ur game is complete then buy pro member to add final features (such as in-app logic etc).. this way u will save money and time because you will still work on same things as free version ... thats my suggestion.. I did it myself ..
Current Projects I am working on: Stupid Duck, Zango's Shark Adventure, AoD: Age of Dragons, Rocket Jump: The Pixel Invaders

Use the Move behavior.
That's fair and you really have two options: bother people or take the time to learn it yourself (see below).
Upgrading to Pro is not going to speed up your understanding of GameSalad. Time and effort will.
Honestly, having a deadline is probably not a good idea when first learning a new tool. On the other hand, maybe having some pressure is how you work best.
Awesome! Sounds like you're learning some great tools. GameSalad is very powerful but it took me a year to feel comfortable and able to make just about anything I can dream up. Some people learn it faster, I'm sure, but expect your first few games to be quite basic and yet challenging to make unless you have a strong background in programming logic and game design. The bottom line is that GameSalad is without a doubt the easiest programming environment to learn how to do very sophisticated things with. I'm a teacher and have used and taught Scratch and other drag-and-drop environments and I would choose this over them in a heartbeat.
I disagree with you that it's "based off asking other people for help." Every tool like this has tutorials and demo files. If you haven't seen the FAQs, start there: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/66768/forum-faq#latest.
The difference between this community and others I've seen is that people are quick to respond, helpful, generally respectful, and intelligent. I've learned SO much here in the past couple of years.
If you're impatient, you're not going to appreciate all of the help that's available. I've seen that, too, in some people's responses and it's unfortunate. I'm not sure what you're expecting, really... having to stop and wait for a reply beats having to stop and tear your hair out because there is no way to get help.
And all of this is FREE. Sure, you can upgrade to PRO and get more features and remove ads (and I recommend doing so once you've gotten some experience with the tool and are ready to publish an app), but you can start developing right away and take advantage of all the community has to offer.
