Tile animations

I'm 99% sure the answer is no, but I figured I'd ask. I know you can tile an image background, which is very useful - from what I can tell is that the tiles have to be static images - is there a away to tile an animation/animated image currently?

@imjustmike, not too sure if I understand what you mean.
My answer would be yes, if you have individual frames of the animation as images, then tile as usual and use the animate behaviour to cycle through them.

Yes, just tile the animation exactly the same way you would tile an image.
@Socks @Hopscotch Holy moly. Is that a recent addition to GS? I have to admit I tend to pick up the software only occasionally every few months, pretty sure it couldn't do that last time I checked. Or I've wasted a lot of time making work arounds to something that was very easy to do.
No, it's always been like that.
@Socks wow. I've been doing it wrong for years.
