? about actors

is it better to have an actor say 256x128 or have one 128x64 then change the size in gs

    The 256x128 will be better quality however it will take up more space. If you want better looking graphics, go for the 256x128

    ive looked at it both ways quality is ok for lower res just didnt know if when played if gs just zooms image during game play or if it changes res then compiles with the correct size image
    if low res looks good zoomed ill use it so its a smaller file size

    Performance-wise, which is the main issue with GS games, it would be best to go with the smaller size. 1) It takes up less space. 2) It takes more effort on the engine's part to resize the image. However, try both, and see how the game runs.
