I got an update on a feature request I submitted back in september

Will be allowing user to import a font as an asset type to be used in the display text behavior in the GameSalad Creator.

That's AMAZING!!
I also voted for custom collisions, and got an email saying that custom polygon collision shapes will be added as a feature as well! So excited!

Such a welcomed addition
Great to see this progress . . . . I hope there is some basic character control over things like leading, kerning, word space and so on.
Also while the Display Text behaviour is getting some attention it would be great to finally kill off the annoyng white-default-text-colour-on-white-default-actor-colour situation, anything would be better than white text !
Also, it would be great to see the font size limit (currently 99) lifted, I've often had a need for larger fonts, at the moment you need to dig out the HTML file and alter the size there if you need a larger font.

I was putting off making a fantasy RPG kinda game because the currently available fonts just don't suit it, and it'll be very text heavy.

well in the admob bug they said it would be coming in v14, so maybe it will squeak in with that

Seems like @BlackCloakGS has been going around and updating all the requested features. Android expansion files and Google Play Services integration got an update as well along the same lines.

@jonmulcahy Have previously not voted for this since the GS team previously basically has said that custom fonts will never happen in the creator. Voted now after the comment from BlackCloakGS, thanks for the heads up. Maybe there is hope after all
No ETA on any thing except AdMob (0.14). Will mostly just go down the list from most votes to lest. Each feature being a new version.
What's "Mo ETA". When you cut the grass?
Now I've figured out the problem. No wonder there are bugs, they're all caused by typos in the code.

As it is now March - Can we have an updated ETA on this much needed feature?
(I don't work at Gamesalad) I am going to take an educated "guess" since it is probably .16 or .17 probably quarter 4 or early 2016.
I think they scheduled this for .14 or .15. So hopefully by the end of the year. Really looking forward to it!

Isn't .15 just some tweaks? And I don't think custom fonts .14, it has enough features in it.
