Whoa I just had a idea...
What if we had support for 3d, I would more than happily fund this feature if and when I gain enough money from my sales, well say one day I got $25,000 and asked if you admins and staff would use that money for a 3d level editor mode, 2.5d editor, isometric mode and a easy to use 3d modelling tool and being able to import our own 3d models, control 3d functions, have terrain mapping, atmospheres and more zany great features that would kick your rivals like yoyogames to the ground begging for mercy on their knees... So what would you say to that? Together we can rake in millions with these simple features. But why stop there we could use rules that read the player(s('s)) thoughts with the right technology and yes it is in the prototype stage it can already turn on or off a light, move the mouse, type without the need for a keyboard. Partner with Thunderfalcon and I can get you all that, and a holographic gaming console, with motion detecting cameras 10x better than the kinect, you can control the Falcon box with thought, voice, body movement, and gaming controller.
Yes that does mean I am giving the entire gamesalad community a chance to have their own gaming system, I came up with all the ideas for it, yes we can use holograms they may be prototypes but in 2 - 4 years time they may become reality, by then we will have mind reading headsets as promised. This is no joke... That and I would never spam.

@Thunderfalcon,
Have you been eating 'special candy' again?
It’s not a bug – it’s an undocumented feature
No I have not and that's off topic, please stay on topic and post feed back, try to stay positive. That and I am having suspicions as to whether or not you came from the game maker community, and yoyogames forums.
Hi @Thunderfalcon
I admire your enthusiasm and dedication to GameSalad. A few points to explain though:
There is no way GSC will ever have proper isometric support nor full 3D support, full stop. (Though that doesn't stop anyone making an isometric game in GSC though nor pseudo-3D - @Socks and other have gone down this line with some great examples).
Having said that, there is a new engine in production called Graphene, which will support 2.5/isometric and possibly 3D some time way into the future. You can read more about Graphene here:

As for thousands of pounds worth of sales - any new feature - or "old" for that matter is no different than a workshop tool. And its existence alone doesn't guarantee any increase in sales because it's how it's used and the expertise of the user too. I'm not saying you can't make a game which will sell thousands - just saying adding features doesn't guarantee this.
P.S Holograms are a reality and have been for many years (low and high level used in many places around the world) but I guess you're meaning holographic iPad screens - well, maybe in 10 years time - then there's along those lines of 3D TV with special glasses. We could even make a "3D" TV-type game with GS right now if wanted - and with the aid of those glasses, see the images (called anaglyphs) in 3D). still pseudo-3D though.

Here's hoping your game-making goes from strength to strength, with the existing GSC features as well as those in Graphene if you choose to use that when it arrives.

No I mean holograms as in holographic images projected on to air from a holographic image projector. But thanks for the feedback, it was very informative. What if I were to advertise your product? So I have the hardware design capabilities and tools, I can make the console, I just need some help with authoring the os for the console, yes it will be done entirely using gamesalad, but I can make the graphics and ui and audio for the console.
$25,000 would pay about 1/8th of the monthly burn at GameSalad. But I love the idea of 2.5 / 3D support. cough Graphene SDK cough
Lol this thread is amazing.

I like how adding a fully 3D engine and all the additional stuff are labelled as "simple features" in the opening post
Obviously @thunderfalcon is new around here, and doesn't understand the difficulty of even getting a snap to grid feature in GameSalad creator has proved a seemingly impossible dream for the past 5 years..
But jesting aside... Creating a user modifiable 3D engine, for any team, is by no means a "simple" endeavour.
They're paying you too much

They are simple when compared to a mind controlled holographic SDK !
I love that idea too.
Is this... satire?
If not, MIND CONTROL FTW.

So what you're saying is that you personally only have $175,000 in monthly salary.. man you should request no, DEMAND a raise
Man, I was so close to join you but you forgot to include a red Leprechaun... big mistake..no HUGE mistake!
How does a virtual leprechaun sound? But if leprechauns are real I shall do my best to get a red leprechaun for you.
Living the life I Do, few things cause me to raise an eyebrow in confusion or surprise. I can only assume that your joking. Besides the future for gaming in general will be in pseudo-reality-immersion, obviously!
This is neat.
He's not joking, this is a deadly serious post which should be treated with the utmost respect and thoughtfulness!
A virtual leprechaun would be like a cheap clone game so thanks but no thanks.
"If leprechauns are real" , what? Next you're gonna say that there is no Santa Claus either.
Good hunting and of course red leprechauns exist, you just have to look hard enough. Having some more of that special candy might help though.
I see a leprechaun every morning on my cereal box. Always talking about his lucky charms!

No glasses or headset required for holograms but rather using a nural transmitter which is a device that is a headset that converts your brain waves into functions(scripts(commands)) which the device must obey, it however is set to filter out illegal commands such as controlling a tank to destroy the school, or controlling another living being.
Glasses-free brainwave controlled 3D holographic game development sounds great, but I'd still rather we got folders and custom fonts first.
Yes that wil all come in given time...
