Quitting GS prob: freezing of application

Hi, thought you ought to know about this; don't know if you'll be able to duplicate the following GS crash:
Two GS game files open; Quit via cmd-Q; Review or Discard changes dialog, chose Review; the file behind the one I was working on came to front, pressed Save btn, off it went; another Save dialog appeared for the second file, clicked Save, dialog went; images in Scene Editor distorted (stretched horiz.); GS frozen and "blanketing" Finder: clicked on desktop as well as Finder icon in Dock, nothing; couldn't get to Force Quit; couldn't open any other apps or folders, etc., had to restart Mac.
Added (might be relevant): I did change the Target Display not long before quitting (from iPhone landscape to portrait), as well as adding an image, and placing it on the scene.
