What OS install ? Maverick or Yosemite?

Hello everyone, I must upload my OS Mountain Lion for install Xcode 6.
What is now the best solution?
Mavericks or Yosemite?

    I can't find Maverick, in app store is not disponibile. I searched everywhere but nothing. I must install Yosemite.
    What is the best version of GS that have less problems with Yosemite?
