How do you get featured?

Is it something that apple deems necessary? Do all new apps get featured under what's new for a little while?

Can i bribe apple with anything to get it featured lol.

I know its probably something apples decides on I was just wondering if all apps get a "shot" under the "new and noteworthy"

    Who knows... my app Prankstar has been featured for the last week but that has only equated to 45 sales. LOL. Guess I should have made an app people want :P
