Submitting for 4.0

Hi everyone.
I have now had an app that has been submitted and waiting for review for a week now, it was submitted lunch time on the 13th. When submitting and it asks if it has been tried and tested for 4.0, what should we be saying? Is it just referencing that you've tried the app on 4.0 software or is it asking if you've tried and tested with built-in features of 4.0? So really, should we be saying yes or no?
I said yes (feeling that was the wrong thing to do) so dont want to wait more time just for them to reject it. Any guidance here would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Beefy...got this from chillingo a while back if it helps...

    Hello,

Apple will be releasing iOS 4 on June 21 as a free upgrade to the majority of iPhones and iPods. As a result we need to ensure that the current versions of your titles work correctly on iOS 4 before it is released to consumers.

Please install the current GM seed of iOS 4 to one of your iPhone or iPod devices and install the current version. You should then perform a run-through of the game functionality to ensure that it works as expected. Download it here https://developer.apple.com/iphone/

The inclusion of multitasking in iOS 4 means that it will be more common for the device to be starved of free memory, and in turn your game. Please ensure that you try the game with plenty of applications running in the background - Safari, Mail, SMS, Contacts, Calendar, Maps etc.

    Kind regards,
    Tom and Chris

If you had tested it on OS4, then you would have said Yes to that. If you can switch to another app, and back again, and your one is exactly where it left off (and doesn't reload), then you can claim that it has OS4 features.

I suspect the current version doesn't do the fast app switching, so if you've implied that it works on OS4, and does support those sorts of features, then I'd expect it to get rejected after a while, even if it could have already be accepted as an OS3 app.

Hey Tom, I'm looking forward to when Angry Birds HD does fast app switching! The iPhone one doesn't, but then that's ClickGamer's problem. I suppose though that you have all the way until Fall before the iPad version has to support OS4.

For what it's worth, I've had even very old GS games open along with lots of other apps, and they don't seem to drag the phone down at all.

So im guessing i should of said no its not ios4 ready then? I wish Gendai would implement the fast app switching, when using the GS viewer that starts off exactly where it left off, however if its a game that has fully been built it starts again from the beginning.

I have had an app that said "Waiting for Review" for 7 days now. No sign of life whatsoever.

Yeah.. I actually emailed the iTunesConnect people through their "Contact us" thing to ask what was up... and they gave me a "Well, all apps are different" kind of response.... Then, quite magically, it was "In Review" ten minutes later. :)

I don't understand...should we submit our games for os4? Because obviously no GS games can multi-task... and thats a main criteria for ios4 apps
