    Okay, I got finished off my other work as fast as I could to get back to this. Thank you everyone for helping very much, but I got pretty lazy and just used photoshop to make an box with transparency within it and i set it to interlace so my text is seen inside my transparent image.

    I'm sorry for wasting your time on this but I must be moving! Thank you anyway!

    Note: I tried making a project with the text and white area and the results were the same,
    and just 2 days ago I updated my gamesalad program so I really can't find why the alpha isn't working.

    Maybe someone should look into this? Idk, but thank you all!
