It would be quite nice if we could get the iPhone 4 features before it comes out...

I don't are about new features as much as I care about load times and engine performance. I'd rather them take their time, and implement these features correctly, rather than rush and worry about further performance hits.

Well, I know we aren't getting any big features, but they NEED to support the new hardware right away, it makes our applications obsolete, and will decline them in sales.

We know there working on iAds, multitasking, and new screen res... We don't know if those will be in the next update or the ones after that.... Almost guarantee the next update will have new screen res support.... 75% sure there will be multitasking... 50% on iAds... We need GameCenter support and in app purchases, but those are still aways off.... Performance has increased significantly so Im happy with that for a couple months... Still needs more juice though... Need more stability and support in the creator tool, but these things are coming and I'm enjoying the GS rollercoaster :D

So far as I can tell, there's not going to be any Game Center stuff for at least another couple months. Apple hasn't even really showed anything they have planned for it.

I'd be happy with iAds and further performance enhancements.

Have you used Openfeint or plus+? Its a nice feature to have for your Games... GameCenter will just crank that up:D

Sure. I'm aware of both of those. :)

What I'm saying is, Apple isn't going to release Game Center until the fall, which is several months away (summer started two days ago). There is no point having Game Center functionality if there is no Game Center.

@danlbryant: Our games work just fine on the new OS. They aren't obsolete. Everything that is currently on the App Store works fine as well.

I believe it's actually the other way around. If you build your game with OS 4.0, then devices that don't yet have 4.0 or cannot support it won't be able to play your game.

OS 4.0 seems to be able to play 3.0 with no problems.

At any rate, Gendai says they are working on OS 4.0 support.
