Make actor be thrown far and add distance for the score

Like I need help to make an actor be pushed and fly through the air. The harder the push the farther the distance will be . But I need a couter to tell how far the actor goes in the air. LIke the game PapiJump the higher the actor goes the more points you get.

    For the being thrown thing, use acceleration(I really can't help you if nobody has an idea of what exactly your doing)

    And for the points, can't you just have an updater type rule that records your y coordinates, then just have a rule that grabs the highest your actor went and make that into points or so?

    That is a good way , I'm trying to make my actor get hit by a flying object. and have the actor soar through the air and record the distance of the actor as the high score. I'm new to GameSalad so could you please put it in full detail. Thank-you
