Hi, I've been using the URL encoding for a carriage return - %0D and although this works fine on the Mac, I've only just realised that it's ignored by the iPad.
So does anyone know what to replace it with?
Also - when the text is exported from my app, and email opens, by quitting email, I then have to reopen the writing app - should know this by now with the iPad- is there any way to send stuff to the email, then when finished, come back to the open app? (I don't think there is but I might have missed something!)
Any help appreciated, thanks.

Anyone know the answer - at least for the first question please?

I do not have much knowledge in this, but I'm sure apple in all its wisdom has changed this more than once. Maybe try %0A or %0D%0A
Again, I'm not an expert in this department.

Thanks, @Lovejoy - it's late here now so I'll check that out tomorrow.

EDIT: I always thought it was %0D
Also as of now there is no way of doing an embedded mail app, so I doubt you could automatically reopen your app after they send an email
Hi @zweg25 Yes, I thought it should be %0D but it seems not...
Thanks for confirmation about the returning to the app - I thought it wasn't possible but was hoping there was a way... OK, that's life!
Hi @Lovejoy - excellent, thanks - %0A did the trick - and now I think about it, that makes more sense to have a line feed instead of a carriage return. Good stuff.
