I'm not too pissed off tbh but when i saw it i thought wtf that's my own noob art i did for a chainsaw game idea some of you helped on or may remember.

Would of been nice to be asked if he could use it and its even his icon!

Anyway i guess a warning to those who make templates and such there's always someone out there looking to make a quick buck.

Dude, not cool! Tell Apple and Gendai! You may not be pissed off but people can't get away with this sort of thing!

Thats why never give out your art and too many functions in a template. Sorry to hear that.

Wow, there seems to be some real unethical folks in these parts lately.

(just in case anyone else wants to grab some art)

I see a lot of art in the app store that is often repeated.

It just seems wrong and pathetic.

Personally even at the risk of not looking as good i wont even download a blue sky with white clouds.

I guess its just too tempting for some people to just download other's work.

Often art is the largest part of the creation process. It like running a marathon and just putting on your shoes and having someone else do the running.

I'll admit my squirrel from protect your nuts looks an awful lot like one all over the web. But thats because I found him on a "how to draw" tutorial. But at least i drew him myself with my bamboo pen and animated him myself.

I wish more of these people would get sued. It's so frustrating having games that dont look quite as nice and take 20x longer only because i refuse to stoop.

Some folks are just shameless. Although no noone seems quite as shameless as the duck hunt kid. I get a kick out of how he tries to justify it with the legal advice he must be getting from monkeys.

To be honest it wouldnt have been so bad if he would have just clones the art work and called it Duck Hunting and put a tribute to a classic in the description .

Wow,,, Just looked at the chainsaw thing.
That company has nearly 400 apps. Most just filler "try to get a buck out of people" apps.

    This is just f'ing retarded.

By sharing tutorials we should be able to put out huge, detailed projects with great art and still have them be safe. I know this isn't the case, and I know exactly why - but it still enrages me to no end.

If my game gets ripped off I WILL do something about it. Probably not something legal...

Yes. But it won't be a stolen one.
