Doodle Jump type game

I'm working on a Doodle Jump inspired game and want to be able to utilize tables for all of the obstacles. I am planning on having different attributes such as moving obstacles, static, obstacles that fire bullets, etc. I also want to easily control the progression of the type of obstacles and when they appear to be triggered when you go up at specific distances. Can anyone share with me a few possible utilizations of tables for this purpose? I will be tinkering around in the mean time but I find it always beneficial to throw things out into the GS ether.
