IPad Video Out Port support?

I'm very new here. First project partially built, going to get the iPad license today.
I've learned that some iPad apps support the video out plug but many don't.
(unlike laptops which nearly always do at least support mirroring, if not dual screens)
I don't know the relative difficulty of implementing this, but I would see the option of enabling video out as a huge plus. ( I have a projector, and like to use it! ) even if it's just mirroring of the main viewport... That's enough to make a great show of it!

But I still would love to have video out support! So I could code visualizers like THESE etc for my VJ shows!

I've talked to some programmers, and apparently video out merely requires sending a specific image to the port,
Which can just be another straight copy of the main screen at the easiest. Not that hard
( Also, it would be handy to have an actor leave an image on the background, if wanted.
It could be used for game backgrounds, painting programs, or to allow cool motion trails like these apps!)
Sometimes I ask for too much? ;-) as an idealist.
But Gendai, if you grant me my Most Wanted Feature I can really make something amazing!
Maybe I'll just make it anyway, for the touch screen, and hope video out support will arrive!
