Hey, I dont own a iphone 6 or 6+ so how can I test my app so I know everything looks good. I used to use the iphone simulator in xcode but that doesnt work at the moment does it? when I publish my app and select overscan will that resize everything nicely on the 6 and 6+?

Although the viewer is a great way to test apps I strongly suggests you find a way to test Adhocs out on your target devices. The key benefits include knowing exactly how your game will play on target devices. For example, your computer typically has more system ram and perhaps a faster processor than mobile devices. In other words your game will preform much differently on you Computer vs. a mobile device.

Lastly, when you design a mobile game on a computer you may find that using the platform will inadvertently cause you to develop gameplay that works well on a CPU but isn’t ideal for mobile game play.

Honestly, there have been times in which I realized that I needed to adjust gameplay as well as my GUI in order to better fit a mobile gaming platform. It was only by testing my apps out on target devices that I realized this.

If you are serious about game development you need to make sure that you have all of the right tools for your craft! Good luck with current and future game endeavors!
