When I log into TestFlightApp.com I see this message:
The services offered at TestFlightapp.com will shutdown on 2/26/2015
Learn about the All-New TestFlight Beta Testing service available inside of iTunes Connect. For more information, please refer to our FAQ.
Their FAQ as well as instructions on getting it to work on "TestFlight Beta Testing" is either overly complicated (IMHO) and I can't make head nor tail of it... has anyone got it working? Any tutorial (hopefully, video link) or help would be greatly appreciated!

I have not used test flight so i can't comment on how to's. But about it shutting down, the website itself will be shut down, it will now be handled internally through iTunes connect, apple took it over.

I got that... but trying to get apple connect to play nice (the way TFA does) has been a wasted few hours
Testflight through apple works fine. You make an app as if you are publishing it, then upload a build with a .zip as you would. Then go to "Prerelease", and submit a build for test flight. It takes about a day to get approved (I know, a pain), but then you just out emails in and it sends out emails to everyone and gives them instructions to download your app.
It took me ages trying to figure it out as well. Follow what @zweg25 said, also, the problem I had was that I was uploading it with a ADHOC certificate, in order for Testflight to work with iTunes Connect you need to apply a App Store certificate. Good Luck!

Aha, I thought it would be immediate like TFA
Thanks for the walkthrough, will get back to you if I have problems.

Yep, I was getting an error (Beta something something) when I tried with an Adhoc, doing a google search I landed on StackOverflow where others were having the same problem and said the only way to fix it was to use the Distribution cert instead.
The documentation is horrible and the whole run around the tree just to test a few apps on an ios device is shamefully stupid of apple, especially if you compare how easy it is to drag and drop on Android (IMHO)
