Is this possible to function on gamesalad?

I want to make a game that still goes on without an app open.
I mean like, if there is a code saying,

+1 point every second

then I want to make it working without app open.

Is this possible? And if so, can anyone help me how to do this?

It's possible, but not the simpliest thing to do. You need a server based clock.

It can be done using the device clock, but that's not the best way to do it because the player can just change the device time forward and cheat.
