Dangling Wind Chime Kind of Thing

Some of you may be familiar with this Demo provided by FireMapleGames. I have been trying to switch it around with little success and make the dangler move with a touch rather than the slider at the top. Sort of like a wind chime. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
