Patrolling actor gets all wonky

Hello, I have an actor that is patrolling by use of a timer. When my player controlled actor(who also controls the camera) approaches the patroller the patroller's movements start going all wonky. I guess what I need is for the patroller to be able to patrol from point 'a' to point 'b' but I'm not sure how to do this.

    Ha! I figured it out. My patrolling actor was in my non-scrollable layer.....
