Make object move up and down

I want to make an actor (ocean wave) move up and down at the bottom of my scene. I'm making a beach scene.
Can anyone help me with that?

Sorry, I should've made this clearer.
I want to make the actor move up then back down endlessly and automatically when player enters the scene.
