What platform do we use when creating an Amazon Fire TV project?

What platform do we use when creating an Amazon Fire TV project? Do we use Kindle Fire portrait and landscape or something else? And if so, will that fit a flat screen tv size pretty good? Want to make sure nothing is cut off on the edges.

    If you want to make sure nothing is cut off on the edges, you should use a 16:9 aspect ratio, so preferably, use the 720p
