Amazon Fire TV remote

Alright so I have created a quick game for the amazon fire tv and the only buttons it uses is the "A" button and then you move back and forth with the thumb-stick. I have tested on my mac with xbox one controller and so Im pretty convinced it will work on other controllers. However I want it to be playable with the remote that comes with the fire tv, I haven't been able to find anything on its controls, is it just Dpad and select?
Second question is there a good thread or video explaining how to submit to amazon, I can probably figure it out just asking incase someone has found something extremely helpful.

The remote has a dpad and the center button is a. It also has a start button.
