Issue with levels

in Working with GS (Mac)

I am not sure how to fix this problem. I currently have 12 levels and when i beat the first level it unlocks level 2 and beat level 2 and it unlocks level 3 and so on. If i decide to go back and play level 1 it locks levels 2 and three. How do i stop this from happening? I know it has to be simple and i am over thinking this.

    @whycali do u know how to use tables? U can change cell values for each level when they are unlocked and save the table.
