Shooting actor that shoots dragging it like angry birds but with a cannon help

I am making a game for iPhone where i shoot a cannon to the top of the screen but i don't know how to make the shooting part. I want it to be like dragging and then releasing like angry birds style if someone can help me i really appreciate that
