How GS makes you feel

Hey guys, just wanted to start a forum on how you feel about GS, or game development in general. I was just wondering if it was just me, or, sometimes in the process of game development I just want to rip my hair off. Sometimes it gets me so stressed out that I just shout at my family for no reason (hahahahha) and all I want to do is relax. Dont take this the wrong way, because no doubt i still love making games, I mean i wake up every morning thinking about game making. I jump out of bed and go straight to GS but sometimes I just have those moments where it drives me crazy...But if i really think about it I guess its those moments that make this process fun! Just wanted to hear everyone else's feelings on this and if you ever have those times where you just want to take a break...

I've found now that I just poke at it whenever I feel like it and don't push myself too much - I do little tasks one at a time rather than saying; "OK, today I will devote to X game."
I still get the odd time where everything goes to hell and I get pretty pissed off, but typically a beer and some cookies (odd combo, I know) makes things seem alright again
If I recall correctly you're only about 15 - so I hope GS isn't taking time away from homework :P
(till I try and pause...)

I still love it but I frustrate myself because I hit the 'creative plateau' where I get half way through a game and suddenly want to start another... it takes all my strength to break through to the end..
A pause would be good though...
I get distracted by this forum. I see a lot of questions that I'd like to answer, but when I start looking into it, I realize I don't know. So then I spend time rolling it around in my head, and after a while... somebody posts the solutions. Sometimes I've figured it out, but usually, I see the answer that think DOH!
I'm having fun.

Seriously though, I'm pleased that my "Oh, I see"s are now outweighing my DOH's, of late. (It's called the OhISee DOH Ratio, I believe...)
I truly admire what the guys at Gendai have done with GS; although it has its small foibles and headaches, the more one gets into it, the more its realised what a powerful app it really is, disguised as the opposite. I guess pulling your hair out is worth it, if the solution to a particular problem is eventually found; then it makes all the stress worthwhile! I've been guilty recently of running to the Forum too soon; a bit more thought and working on the prob for an hour or so's more, and the solution is often found! GS gets you like that, I'm finding. Sometimes a time away from the computer though, trying to push all thoughts away to do with game-making, can "recharge the batteries" sometimes, and you get back to GS with a refreshed mind, I find. (That rhymes!)

The Programation Problems, Thanks good, I Solved them all the same day.
It makes me feel like "Hey!! I'm not only asking my parents for money, but is trying to make some money. (I'm only 16)
I can make my parents become proud of me. Now they know that I'm not only spending money!
I can't express it through words, but I'm very very happy.
I just really wish they would simply certain things. I think there should be a few behaviors that are standard...like walking for one.
I got an iMac and I'm so happy with it. It would drive me crazy too when my Macbook would practically melt my skin off after a few hours of working on it, but you will be very happy with your iMac once you get it. Much easier to work with, I hardly ever use my Macbook now unless on vacation
Good for you on sales for Farm Showdown! That's very awesome for your first app!
What I think you had going for your game too was the name, and you nailed the icon. And it's a unique title, you can't go wrong with farm animals!
When I started learning Xcode and Ocjective C I found that i found it much more enjoyable and challenging. Now that I've made 2 Xcode apps (1 for a website) and I'm back to GS I feel kinda bored.
I recon GS would be much better if it let you add your own objective c
I still love GS though
