Hi guys,
If you'd like to help test Max Vector: Resolution, an 8 bit inspired side-scrolling shooter, email me at karl@polygame.co.nz.
I am after TESTERS not just people who want to have a quick blast. I'd prefer people who were actually around during the 8 bit era, too, to avoid stupid comments like "I think the graphics are too blocky". This is a very stylistic game, some will love, others will loathe.
Send me your iPhone details (name, UDID etc) and I'll provide the distribution profile and app (with debug mode so you can skip levels etc).
I also need testers with original, 3G and 3GS phones as well as iPod Touches... pretty sure the 4G iPhone will run it smoothly but you're more than welcome to test if you have one of these too.
The game has two modes, normal and legacy, the latter is designed for older iDevices as the normal mode is just too much for the puny CPU and VRAM of the older stuff.
And what do I offer in return? Well, you get a free copy of the game (which you'll probably be sick of by the time you've completed it fifteen times) and a credit in the end sequence. AWEOME, EH?!?!?!
Cheers!

Also I have a pixel fest of a different genre in the works
This makes me think of "Gates of Zendocon" on my Atari Lynx ;-) Still have it somewhere...
Also, that font is Atari ish I think
Of course "Vector" is before pixel graphics, as you probably know, on Asteroids, Tempest, Omega Race, etc.
It looks *lovely*
