How can I stop leaving touch footprint?

We were testing out my game, about 9 of us and there's a part in my game where the actor is supposed to turn towards the X,Y position of the touch. So when we do leave the screen untouched, the actor still circles around to the last touch location.

you think I should make a rule that when TOUCH is not pressed, Touch X,Y should be outside the screen area?

    Do you want the actor to turn towards that offscreen position ?

    No, I just decided to put a timer for it, lol... overall i'm happy so far from the tests we've done, can't believe i'm able to create a game and actually play it on different phones..
