Why not have the GameStop sales force sell GameSalad subscriptions?
Sales reps could earn a commission on either yearly or monthly recurring memberships via a unique affiliate code that would be distributed with a CD of the GameSalad Pro Creator that comes with the purchase of their subscription.
Of course, the Creator would require some sort of activation check, or require a login to verify subscription status before allowing the download.
There could be GameStop-specific benefits for signing up through them (similar to unique benefits for preordering certain games through GameStop as opposed to another company like Amazon).
Both business models fit each other perfectly.
Why not?
