Finding Better Sprites

Shadowghost135Shadowghost135 Member Posts: 38
Hey all, I was just wondering if someone out there could give me some good places to find sprites to work with. I'm not much of a drawing person, and I've looked under the resources and support files yet can't really find anything I'm looking for. Any advice on finding good images (open-free, or paid-for) would be greatly appropriated. Thanks guys, :-D

Have you checked http://www.openclipart.org/ yet? That seems to be popular here on the forums.

I can confirm i have used Ian on my recent projects and his work is fantastic with very fair prices, a right credit to this community. He has a big thread on these forums and you will see many a happy folk around the GS community who have used him

Hi Shadowghost, a paid-for site well worth investigating is http://www.contentparadise.com/

Loads of stuff there; the occasional free stuff as well. It's leaning towards 3D stuff, even in 2D though, but there might be something there you can use, depending on your game styling.

debugdesign: I'd love to commission you at some stage; although my first two games are pretty much covered, graphics-wise, I'll be emailing you in the future, definitely for my third. Love your style!

    :-)

it was my first game and it's full of timers, contrains, and other memory sapping bits... I need to update it soon as it's a bit laggy on older devices. But I'm glad you liked it

let me know if I can help

No problem, I wanted to talk to you about an ad-swap as my dragon game is close to completion so I am going to add some GS games to the 'more games' area to increase each others exposure...
