During publishing, is Firetv Remote only considering a FireTV remote and not a controller?

Just want to make sure... I only want a controller to work for my game for FireTV. So do I uncheck the FireTV Remote during publishing? Don't want to uncheck it and controllers not work either.

yes you are correct on how that works. It is only for the remote.
