Android Leaderboards & Achievements - What platform to choose ?

The title says it all ! I know on apple i use Game Center, but what is the name of the similar service for Android devices ? How do I implement it in my games ?

Google has Google Play Game Services, but Gamesalad doesn´t support it yet.
Amazon has Game Circle, and that is supported in Gamesalad.

In the Google play developer console I see something called Linked apps and it says link an iOS app, what do they mean? Will this enable game center to work in conjunction with google play ??

I´m not sure what that means. Never used that feature.
But i don't think you can have Game Center on an Android app.

@FuzzBuzz I have had the same issues! In my first game ever, I used Amazon Leaderboards with Android, but it was a pain in the butt, and they don't turn out to good. I started taking out the leaderboards feature for Android, or I just don't publish the game there at all.
