Creating bubbles under actor

Hi all.

I need help making bubbles appear under an actor when it moves up and also when the actor moves down. I want them to appear with the up and down movement and disappear when the up and down are not pressed (touched for iphone). Also is it possible to add some animation to the bubble so they are not too lifeless?

How do I control the gravity so that when I release the up key the actor will drop?

Thanks so much for helping this newbie. I really appreciate it!

You're going to want to use the particles behavior for that.

Create a bubble image in Photoshop or whatever and import it to play around with.

Ok. I made an AI picture and brought it over. Do I need to make a new attribute for the (character, actor 1) that will "shoot" (bubbles, actor 2) out of its feet?

    Thanks.

Just drop a particles behavior in the main actor and in the image tab of the particles behavior select your bubble image. Just set all of the different particle settings to what you want - it will be a lot of trial and error to get it just right.

I did that. Played around with it. However I want it to be a little more flexible that what the particle effect offers. I need the bubbles to stop when the up and down are not pressed. I also need them to come from 2 feet instead of one.

I would like to animate them so they go from small to big.

    Maybe I missed something.

I will play around more while I wait for some more help. Thanks guys.
