actor mode and camera mode

hello,
in selected the iphone 5 landscape screen.
There are two black squares and gray area around them.
Which square is the area of the game? (the screen), i need to know where to place the bg.
in the grey area i putting spawners and actors..

    The black area is the scene.

    ok but which one?.. i mean, the big black square is bigger then iphone 5 screen. only the small square is look like the iphone 5 size.
