Cross Platform Game Editing?

in Working with GS (Mac)

i have a mac and my friend has windows, would we be able to share game files? we tried but an error shows saying that it is incompatible.

any suggestions to fix this?

    never mind, I figured it out. if anyone else was wondering. We were on two different versions of gs. this might help if anyone else is wondering:

    I'm still having trouble if anyone can help. We have different versions of gs since the Windows version is behind the Mac. Not really sure of the best way to go about cross platform development.
